Since 1996, I have lived several pilot lives. I traveled the world on tactical aircraft, became a flight instructor for young Air Force pilots, and later served as a VIP Captain on Dassault Falcon jets — flying the President of the French Republic and senior members of the French government.
From 2018 to 2022, I was Technical Pilot for Falcon 7X/8X in private aviation. On a France-based Falcon 7X, I joined at purchase signing, worked with Dassault on delivery and operational set-up, recruited and trained crews, then followed operations, technical matters and finances as Customer Aircraft Manager.
Since October 2024, I have combined Flight Operations Manager and Chief Pilot duties documented in an operator’s Operations Manual with owner-side aircraft management and advice. It is one aircraft assignment, connecting the owner, operator, crews and technical providers.
Practical Flight Operations work, from recovering an operation to setting up an aircraft and helping local teams use the resulting procedures.
Called in after the loss of a French operator’s AOC as Flight Operations Manager, reporting to the owner. Worked with the Chief Pilot on documentation, liaised with the French Civil Aviation Authority and helped restructure the operation and crew. The AOC was restored within three months of my appointment.
With a fellow specialist, reviewed an operator’s organisation and overhauled its Operations Manual, which was submitted and adopted. Prepared documentation for EFB and electronic techlog applications, supported authority validation and their use by the operator, and continued operational follow-up and flying.
